Windows x64向けのOracle Database 11g R2とOracle SQL Developer

Windows x64向けOracle Database 11g R2をインスト―ルすると、DB開発ツール「Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.5」もインストールされます。

ですが、このOracle SQL Developer 1.5.5は、Windows x64上では動作しません。

回避策は、Windows x64向けのOracle SQL Developer 2.1以降をダウンロード/インストールすることです。最新のOracle SQL Developer 2.1.1をお勧めします。

Oracle SQL Developer Support

Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.5 that ships with Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2) is not supported on Windows x64.

Workaround:

Download Oracle SQL Developer 2.1 or later from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Web site:
